Job Description - Health, Safety and Facilities Manager

Health, Safety and Facilities Manager | Christchurch | £50,000

Ensuring safety, compliance and efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Are you an experienced Health, Safety and Facilities professional with a passion for creating safe and compliant workplaces? Do you thrive in a role where you can lead and drive cultural change? If so, this opportunity as a Health, Safety and Facilities Manager could be the perfect fit for you.

As Health, Safety and Facilities Manager, you will benefit from:

As Health, Safety and Facilities Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS) in compliance with UK legislation and ISO 45001.
  • Leading risk assessments, accident investigations and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Championing a proactive safety culture through training, toolbox talks and initiatives.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and liaising with external bodies (HSE, local authorities, etc.).
  • Overseeing internal and external audits to meet and exceed ISO14001 and ISO45001 accreditations.

As Health, Safety and Facilities Manager, your experience will include:

  • Significant experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) preferred.
  • Strong facilities management experience, including compliance with building and environmental regulations.
  • Proven track record in driving cultural change and continuous improvement in HSE.
  • Experience managing budgets and leading facility-related projects.
