Healthcare Assistant - Radiology

Healthcare Assistant | Imaging | Spire Murrayfield Hospital | Permanent | Full time

Spire Murrayfield are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join their imaging department. You will be there to assist the multi disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient care and examination on a permanent basis.

Working hours will be: 37.5 hours per week - Monday-Friday 8am-8pm (Thursday 8am-9pm). Saturday 8-1 or 8-4.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care


• Helping with administrative duties such booking patient appointments


• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients


• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person


• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Who we're looking for:

• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential


• NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential


• Cannulation experience desirable but not essential
