### About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide high-quality care and support to individuals, helping them maintain dignity, independence, and wellbeing. This role involves supporting service users with daily living activities while promoting person-centred care at all times.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants who have experience supporting individuals living with dementia or are willing to complete Dementia Awareness training through our Care Academy.

### Key Responsibilities

* Supporting individuals with personal care needs
* Assisting with daily living activities
* Promoting independence and wellbeing
* Supporting service users with dementia-related needs
* Monitoring and reporting changes in service users' conditions
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures
* Delivering person-centred care in line with CQC standards

### Requirements

* Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, or Support Worker
* Mandatory Training Certificate
* Dementia Awareness Certificate (or willingness to complete training)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and professional approach to care
* Reliable and flexible attitude towards shift work

### Additional Training Support

Dementia Awareness training is available through our Agency for candidates who need to upskill before starting work.
