Role Overview

Fame24HourCare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in Ipswich. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and practical daily living support in service users’ own homes.
Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, shopping, and daily routines.
Support service users with hobbies, interests, and meaningful activities.
Promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion.
Follow personalised care plans and report any changes in needs.
Safely dispose of waste and hazardous materials.
Communicate effectively and adapt to individual needs.
Contribute to personalised support plans.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of all service users.
9Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Skills & Experience

Excellent communication skills.
Ability to interpret basic medical information.
Calm, professional, and reliable approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
Strong teamwork skills.
Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
Experience in a care or healthcare setting is beneficial.
Full UK driving licence preferred due to community-based home care.
