Heat Treatment Inspector

MET are currently looking for a Heat Treatment Inspector for a client based in Halesowen!

Requirements:

Inspect components before and after heat treatment processes.
Verify heat treatment cycles, temperatures, soak times, and cooling methods against specifications.
Review and validate furnace charts, process records, and certification documentation.
Perform visual inspections for defects such as cracking, distortion, decarburisation, oxidation, or surface damage.
Conduct hardness testing using approved methods (Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, etc.).
Use measuring equipment to check dimensions and tolerances.
Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 12am and Friday 12pm to 6am
Pay:

£12.71 plus 13.25 hours shift allowance per week so work 39 but paid for 52.25.
