Heating Estimator

Position: Small Works Estimator
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 plus uncapped bonuses

Heating Estimator / Small Works Estimator required for my client, a specialist MEP & Building Services contractor based in the Peterborough area. They are currently seeking a Heating Estimator / Small Works Estimator to work from their office, with occasional site visits.

The Mechanical Estimator will be involved in commercial small works projects and repair works, covering a large single static site, that the client manages. The Plumbing and Heating Estimator will be predominately office based, but may be required on occasion to attend site to carry out surveys etc. The small works estimator will be preparing detailed cost pricing and estimates for small projects including Pipework, boilers, plant room systems and more. The Heating Estimator will also be required to price for take offs, prepare and present tenders.

Experience carrying out estimates and producing quotations for plumbing and heating systems is essential. This may potentially suit and experienced commercial gas engineer looking to come off the tools or an engineer who has been self-employed for a period of time, with experience pricing their own works.

Mechanical Estimator Position Requirements

Previous experience carrying out estimates / quotations of commercial plant-room projects, from refurbs to new installations.
Based within commutable distance of Peterborough
This role would potentially suit an experienced commercial gas engineer who has priced works themselves, who might be looking to come off the tools. The client is willing to provide training, on the office side, of the role
Mechanical Estimator Position Remuneration

Salary £40,000 to £45,000+ depending on experience
Bonuses on invoices for works, typically this is around 10% to 14% per month, based salary, however it is uncapped so there is potential to earn more.

25 days plus bank holidays, annual leave
