Heavy Plant Fitter – Experienced Engineer Required

£25 Per Hour. Overtime timeand a half after 40 hours

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy plant and construction machinery, with hands-on experience working on a range of equipment, including:

* Dozers

* 360 Excavators

* Dumpers and other heavy plant machinery

* Associated construction and earthmoving equipment

The Role:

* Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.

* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic faults.

* Undertaking breakdown repairs and general maintenance.

* Ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard and operating safely.

* Working independently and as part of a team.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or Plant Mechanic.

* Good working knowledge of dozers, 360 excavators and similar construction machinery.

* Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.

* A proactive approach with the ability to work on their own initiative.

* Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
