Hedge Fund Regulatory Reporting (Short selling / Long position Reporting

Job Function Summary

The suitable candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. The position requires a sound understanding of short selling / long position regulatory reporting requirements, strong organizational skills, an attention to detail and ability to interact across a range of stakeholders.

• Assist with the documentation and implementation of processes and procedures for monitoring compliance across transaction reporting regimes
• Assess on a continuous basis regulatory reporting risks, and introduce or enhance controls as required
• Build and manage MI and reporting process to track control failures and resolution times
• Assist with the resolution of failed, inadequate or missing controls
• Remain current on the regulatory reporting landscape
• Ensure the Operations department is fully compliant with regulatory requirements at all times

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Proven understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and their impact on Operations
• Good knowledge of financial instruments across equities, fixed income and commodities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment

Strong organizational and problem solving skills
