HGV CLASS 1 & CLASS 2 DRIVERS

Platinum Transport Solutions – Belvedere, Kent

We are looking for reliable, professional and hardworking HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to join our growing transport operation.

The Role

Our drivers carry out a variety of work across London and the South East, with occasional work further afield. This is a varied role suited to drivers who enjoy a busy working environment and take pride in providing a professional service to our customers.

You will be responsible for:

* Driving Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles safely and responsibly

* Completing deliveries and collections efficiently

* Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects

* Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed correctly

* Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

* Complying with all company, legal and health & safety requirements

About You

We are looking for drivers who are:

* Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence holders

* Reliable, punctual and professional

* Safety-conscious and responsible

* Customer-focused with good communication skills

* Comfortable driving into Central London and the wider South East

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

* Committed to maintaining high standards of driving and vehicle care

* Valid Tachograph card & CPC

* Moffett licence preferred but will train the right candidate

* Good understanding of Drivers’ hours and WTD rules

Experienced drivers are preferred, but newly qualified drivers will also be considered. Full training and ongoing development will be provided where required.
