Ideal Recruit is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Sheffield.

Pay Rates

PAYE:

Days: £17.08 per hour
Nights: £18.55 per hour

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

Typically completing 2–3 "wave" runs per shift
Safe and efficient driving of the vehicle
Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
Keeping all required paperwork up to date
Maintaining a professional standard at all times

Driver Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Minimum 6 months' experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points for minor endorsements
A reliable and professional approach to work
