HGV Class 1 Driver

Blue Recruitment Personnel is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) on behalf of several well-established and respected logistics clients operating across multiple depot locations. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled drivers looking for ongoing container and general haulage work with a company that values professionalism, punctuality and safety on the road.

Duties Include: 

• Trunking and container haulage from ports and depots
• Day and night shifts are available depending on location
• Conducting pre-use vehicle checks and reporting issues
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours, safety and road transport legislation 
• Interacting professionally with depot and delivery site personnel 

Pay Rates: 

• Days: £17.00 £18.00 per hour 
• Nights/Weekends: £20.00 £21.00 per hour 

PAYE Drivers: 

• Days: £14.50 £15.50 per hour 
• Nights/Weekends: £18.00 £19.00 per hour 

Candidate Requirements: 

• Valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E) 
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph 
• At least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience (container experience desirable) 
• Strong knowledge of driver regulations and the Working Time Directive Reliable, safety-conscious and customer-service focused
