Premier Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a leading production company seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their transport team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all UK transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety standards, site rules, and transport legislation, including drivers' hours and vehicle defect reporting.
• Ensure the security of goods during transit, including occasional long-distance journeys with overnight stays.
• Drive in a safe, economical manner in line with UK driving laws.
• Handle various trailer types such as refrigerated units, curtain siders, and low loaders.
• Accurately complete delivery notes, paperwork, and job debriefs.
• Provide outstanding service to customers and colleagues.
• Operate forklifts or pump trucks to load/unload vehicles as required.

What You'll Need:

• A valid HGV Class 1 licence and current Tacho Card (essential).
• A PSV licence is an advantage or a willingness to complete company-funded training.
• Proven experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• A good understanding of health and safety and food hygiene standards.
• Physical fitness, with regular manual handling required.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends.

Hours: Average of 55 hours per week on a rolling pattern:

• Week 1: 5 days on, 1 day off
• Week 2: 5 days on, 2 days off (1 in 12 full weekends off).
