Brighthire Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a leading waste and environmental services operation in Essex.

This is an ongoing opportunity involving the transportation of Roll-On/Roll-Off (RoRo) containers between waste facilities and disposal sites across the county. You'll operate a Wag & Drag vehicle while supporting the smooth running of multiple operational sites.

Duties Include:
✔ Driving a Class 1 Wag & Drag vehicle
✔ Collecting, transporting and tipping RoRo containers
✔ Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
✔ Completing tachograph records and transport paperwork
✔ Ensuring loads are secured safely and transported in compliance with regulations
✔ Working closely with site managers and operational teams
✔ Assisting with container movements on-site when required
✔ Following all health & safety procedures and site-specific rules

Requirements:
✔ Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
✔ Driver CPC Qualification
✔ Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Good understanding of driver regulations and transport legislation
✔ Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
✔ Strong communication and organisational skills
✔ Flexible approach to working hours, including some weekends
