Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all driving regulations. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their deliveries on time.

Responsibilities

* Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

* Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

* Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo, particularly for flatbed deliveries.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.

* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as local, national, and international regulations related to commercial driving.

Requirements

* Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.

* Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in commercial driving roles, particularly with flatbed vehicles is preferred.

* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules.

* Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.

* Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
