Hgv Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for trunking work based in Sutton.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, professional drivers looking for consistent work within a well-organised transport operation.

The Role

* Trunking work between depots and distribution centres.

* Primarily depot-to-depot deliveries with no handballing expected on standard trunking duties.

* Safe and efficient operation of a Class 1 vehicle.

* Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are carried out in accordance with road safety and company procedures.

* Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and communicating effectively with the transport team.

Driver Requirements

* Minimum of 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience.

* Valid Category C+E licence.

* No more than 6 penalty points.

* No major endorsements.

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

* Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
