Hgv Class 1 Driver

About the role Our Client is a [logistics / distribution] business moving goods for major retailers and manufacturers across the UK. We need experienced Class 1 drivers to deliver safely and on time.

What you will do

* Drive Class 1 articulated vehicles on [trunking / multi-drop / tramping] routes

* Carry out daily vehicle walk-round checks and report defects

* Load, secure and deliver goods safely and on schedule

* Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices

* Follow drivers' hours rules and tachograph regulations

* Represent the company professionally with customers

What you need

* Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

* At least 6–12 months of Class 1 experience

* No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

* Good knowledge of UK road networks

Nice to have

* ADR certificate

* Moffett or forklift licence

* Experience with curtain-siders, fridges or double-deck trailers
