HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Teeside area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights part time.

Shifts Schedule: Monday & Friday

Start Times: 19:00pm - 20:00pm starts

Pay Rates:

Between 6am to 10pm - £17.75 per hour PAYE

Between 10pm - 6am - £18.25 per hour PAYE

Location: Teeside, DL1

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels.

* Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.

* Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* 6 months minimum experience required

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A safety-first mindset.
