HGV Class 1 Drivers

HGV Class 1 Day & Night Drivers – Full Time Ongoing - consistent work past Christmas 

Location: Severn Beach, Bristol

Shift Pattern: 5 on / 3 off but can be flexible with shift patterns (Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday)

Full-Time | Ongoing Work

 Bonus Scheme:
Running from October 11th – January 3rd. £90 paid per week for each week worked — £50 paid within the week, with £40 banked and paid at the end of the scheme. This is dependent on absences, incidents and delivery performance.

Day Drivers Pay Rate: £18.74 – £21.89 per hour
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 09:00This is a physically demanding role, and drivers must be prepared to handle a variety of goods.

Duties include:
Delivering products including white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges and freezers (not palletised)
Handling TVs, microwaves and other electrical appliances (some palletised)
Heavy lifting and manual handling required
Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely

Night Drivers Pay Rate: £19.79 – £21.89 per hour

Start Times: Between 17:00 – 21:00 or 21:00 – 00:00

No handballing - Role details:
Curtain-sided trailers
Palletised loads requiring secure strapping
No handballing
Consistent ongoing work
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience - (Can accept with less experience if booked onto a day with our training academy) 
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
Max 6 points (no DD, DR, IN or TT)
Experience using curtain-sided trailers and securing palletised loads
Strong knowledge of UK driving laws and compliance
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling where required
Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
Able to commit to a long-term ongoing role
