Job Type: Long-term ongoing (Part Time)

Shift Pattern:
We are currently looking for reliable part time HGV Class 1 drivers who are available to work Monday and Friday.

Start time windows:

* 11:00 – 15:00

* 19:00 – Midnight

* Midnight – 03:00

Average shift length: 10–12 hours (guaranteed 8 hours)

Pay Rates:

Weeks 1–12 (Including Rolled Up Holiday Pay)

* Day Shift: £19.88

* Night Shift: £20.16

* Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): £20.16

13+ Weeks (Including Rolled Up Holiday Pay)

* Day Shift: £20.16

* Night Shift: £20.73

* 6th Day: £30.28

* 6th Night: £31.13

* Bank Holiday Day: £40.38

* Bank Holiday Night: £41.52

Key Responsibilities:

Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels containing high-value goods.

Collecting high-value goods from well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations.

Occasional handling of push roller cages as required.

Carrying out precise reversing and manoeuvring in yards, including shunting duties when required.

Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and company safety standards.

Communicating effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement.

Availability to work Monday and Friday.

Flexibility with start times from the available windows above.

Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Maximum of 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Successful completion of assessment (theory & practical).

Understanding of WTD legislation.

Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
