This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Drivers looking for regular Monday–Friday work, early starts, early finishes and a genuine long-term position.

Salary - £31,694

£16.43 per hour

The Role

As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles and supporting the collection of household and commercial waste across the local area.

You’ll work as part of a dedicated team, helping to provide an essential waste collection service to the local community.

Working pattern:

* Monday to Friday

* Early starts and early finishes

* Regular, ongoing work

* PAYE position

* Long-term opportunity

Your Responsibilities

* Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle

* Drive designated routes and collection areas

* Work closely with the refuse collection team

* Ensure waste is collected safely and efficiently

* Carry out daily vehicle checks

* Report any vehicle defects or issues

* Follow all relevant health & safety procedures

* Comply with drivers’ hours and transport legislation

* Maintain a professional attitude when working in the community

We’re looking for reliable, safety-conscious and hardworking drivers who are comfortable working as part of a team and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Essential:

* Valid Class 2 / Cat C licence

* Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road safety

* Reliable and punctual

* Professional attitude

* Good communication skills

* Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
