As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles, adhering to routes and schedules, and providing excellent customer service. If you are a dedicated driver with a strong focus on safety and efficiency, we encourage you to apply and become a valued part of our team.

Shift: Initially this role will be Monday to Friday, however it is anticipated to be change to a rolling shift pattern with overnight tramping requirements when needed within a few months of starting once routes are established.

Salary: £16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Drive HGV vehicles responsibly and safely to deliver products across assigned routes.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Manage delivery schedules effectively to meet customer expectations.
• Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle reports.
• Load and unload goods when necessary, ensuring careful handling of products.
• Communicate with relevant departments and customers to report any delays or issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness and serviceability of the vehicle at all times.

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in a similar driving role (FMCG or food industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and compliance requirements
