The company is a market leader in specialist equipment rental solutions, supplying a wide range of fluid, power and tool equipment to customers across the construction and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, the company is looking for a versatile HGV Driver to join its team based in Brigg. This is a varied position combining HGV driving with hands-on equipment support, including delivering specialist rental equipment to customer sites, assisting with installation and removal, and carrying out basic inspection, maintenance and repair work. It would suit an experienced Class 1 driver who enjoys a role with plenty of variety and is comfortable getting involved beyond simply driving from A to B.

* £36,000 - £38,000 per annum
* 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
* Operate a range of HGV vehicles, including articulated vehicles, HIAB / crane trucks and hook loaders, to deliver specialist rental equipment to customer sites.
* Deliver equipment and assist with the set-up and de-installation of tanks, manifolds, hoses, berms, pumps, generators and associated equipment.
* Carry out pre- and post-delivery inspections, along with basic maintenance and repair work on rental equipment.
* Provide customers with clear and professional equipment handovers following delivery and installation.
* Maintain accurate driver logs, vehicle documentation and regulatory records.
* Ensure all driving, loading, unloading and site activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
* Work closely with colleagues and customers to ensure equipment is delivered and installed efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
* A valid HGV Class 1 / C+E driving licence with recent professional HGV driving experience.
* Comfortable operating large commercial vehicles and travelling to customer sites throughout the East of England and wider UK.
* Lorry loader / crane truck training would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
* ADR certification would be beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided.
* Good practical ability and mechanical aptitude, with a willingness to carry out basic equipment inspection and maintenance.
* A flexible approach to work, including willingness to undertake occasional overtime, weekend work and overnight trips when required.
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Good written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
* Strong awareness of workplace and road safety.
