HGV DRIVER

Southern Screed is an established family run screeding contractor. Based in Guildford, we supply and install both traditional screed and liquid screed across the south of the UK. We are based in Guildford and ideally the driver will be within a reasonable distance from us.

Due to expansion within the company, we are looking for a driver to join our growing and successful team.
We are looking for a person who is friendly, hardworking and approachable. Our Drivers and Installers are the face of our company so we are looking for someone who can deal with customers in an appropriate manner.

Previous experience with a volumetric vehicle is a requirement for this position.

This role is subject to a successful trial period.

Main duties to include;
· Commuting to sites across Surrey and neighbouring counties
· Class 2 HGV driver with Digi Tacho card (2 years minimum experience required and must be able to drive a manual HGV- 32 tonnes)
· Full valid CPC and clean driving licence is necessary
· Unload pipework
· Help screeder set up and assist screeder when required
· Clear pipes away
· Clean all apparatus and HGV
· Maintenance of the vehicles including daily walkarounds and liaising with the transport manager
· Load up truck with materials
· Other general duties as required

Benefits
Salary up to £45,000 a year (Full time PAYE), with overtime and bonuses also available.
Bank holidays to be paid along with 18 days of annual leave.

Schedule
Monday - Friday (Saturdays may be required occasionally)
