HGV Mechanic - Birmingham

A reputable main dealer in Birmingham is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of heavy goods vehicles to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of HGVs
Diagnose and rectify faults on HGVs
Perform inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within the set time frames
Maintain accurate records of work carried out
Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (preferred)
Proven experience working with HGVs
Strong diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving license (HGV license preferred but not essential)
