Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics operation in Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for consistent night shifts with excellent rates of pay.

The Role
Safely shunting trailers around the yard.

Moving vehicles between loading bays and parking areas.

Carrying out daily vehicle checks.

Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams.

Ensuring all trailer movements are completed safely and efficiently.

Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.

Hours & Pay
4 on 4 off

6:30pm – 6:30am

£18.75 per hour

£28.12 per hour after 9.6 hours worked each shift

Requirements
Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous Class 1 driving or shunting experience is desirable.

Good understanding of transport legislation and health & safety.

Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent timekeeping.
