HGV Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on HGVs/LGVs.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.

• Accurately document repairs and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

• Collaborate closely with the Workshop and Transport Managers.

• Provide out-of-hours support when required.

Essential Requirements:

• City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.

• Strong diagnostic skills with experience in MOT preparation and defect reporting.

Desirable:

• Class 1 Licence.

• Excellent communication skills and a calm, proactive approach.
