HGV Technician

We are looking for outstanding HGV Technicians to work in our busy HGV Workshops, previous experience in this area is essential.

Duties:

Must be conversant with current working methods, including:
* MOT Preparation
* Vehicle and Trailer diagnostics
* Carrying out service and maintenance of predominantly HGV but also Trailers and LGV as per depot procedures
* Experience of onsite inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
* Complete job sheets and inspection sheets with full write up of tasks completed

Required Certification & Experience:
* Level 3 NVQ / City and Guilds 1,2,3 Qualification or equivalent in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
* Driving Licence
* HGV 1 licence is preferable but not essential

Hours : Mon - Fri 08:00 - 18:00, with alternate Saturdays 07:00-12:00 (47.5 hours with 30 mins unpaid lunch break) Overtime paid at 1.5 (any hours over 47.5 i.e the alternate Saturdays and anything additional)

Salary: £39,520+
