HGV Technician

Working at a newly refurbished Hyde Depot, you will be a skilled HGV Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our customers fleets.

Duties
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on HGVs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time taken for repairs.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.

Requirements
* NVQ L3 HGV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
* Familiarity with electrical systems in HGVs is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
