HGV Technician

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Vehicle Dealership, based in the Preston area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £45,000 with working hours of 4-on-4-off rotating shifts (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am).

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

• Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation
• Work to Health & Safety and DVSA standards thoroughly.

Requirements:

• Previous working experience within the role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
