HGV Technician

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Main Dealer, based in the Reading area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £43,680; an OTE of circa £43,680 with rotational shift patterns ranging from mornings (7am – 3:30pm) and evenings (2.30pm – 11pm).

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team; this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:

• Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
• Diagnosing faults on Vehicles
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements:

• Previous working experience within the role
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• Full Level 3 NVQ qualifications imperative
• A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
