Title: HGV Technician – Barking
Salary: £18 - £23 per hour DOE (£37,440 - £59,800 per year)
Hours: Choose from 40, 45, or 50-hour contracts
Shifts: Split Shift Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings
Location: Workshop-based – Barking, East London

We are currently seeking skilled and reliable HGV Technicians to join our workshop team in Barking. Whether you’re Level 3, Level 2, time-served, or internationally trained, we want to hear from you.

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Flexible contract options: 40, 45, or 50 hours per week

Workshop-only role – no roadside or mobile work

Split Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Monday to Friday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

1 in 4 Saturdays: 6:00am – 12:00 midday

Role Overview:
Based in our fully equipped Barking workshop, you will be responsible for maintenance, inspections, fault finding, and repairs across a fleet of HGVs. This is a hands-on role in a well-established team where your skills and experience will be valued.

What We’re Looking For:

NVQ Level 3 or Level 2 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)

Time-served or internationally qualified technicians welcome

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work

Ability to work well as part of a team
