We are working on behalf of our client to find a HGV Technician

Overview

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Ipswich. You will carry out maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring all work meets safety and legal standards.

Responsibilities

*

Routine servicing and repairs on HGVs

*

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

*

MOT prep and safety inspections

*

Accurate record keeping

*

Working safely and efficiently within the shift pattern

Requirements

*

Experience as an HGV Technician/Mechanic

*

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

*

Strong diagnostic skills

*

Full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage)
