Hgv Technician

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle workshop with over 35 years in the industry. The role will involve servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing HGV units and trailers, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

The role:

* HGV servicing, maintenance and repairs

* Diagnostics and fault finding

* Unit and trailer work

* MOT preparation

* 45 hours per week

* Shifts: 8am–5pm / 11am–8pm

* Optional overtime available

What we're looking for:

* Ideally 3+ years' HGV/unit/trailer experience

* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent

* Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Class 1 (C+E) desirable but not essential

* Welding experience desirable

Pay: £21 per hour / £43,680 basic, with overtime paid at £26 per hour and potential earnings of up to £60,000
