Hgv Technician

Location: Thrapston
Pay: £21.00 – £26.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shifts: Various shifts available
Job Type: Permanent

We are currently looking for experienced HGV Technicians / HGV Mechanics to join a busy workshop team. This is a workshop-based role carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding on a range of commercial vehicles.

Available Shifts:

* 08:00 – 18:00

* 18:00 – 04:00

* 10:00 – 20:00

The Role:

* Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

* Complete inspections and safety checks

* Carry out repairs to brakes, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems

* Fault finding using diagnostic equipment where required

* Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

* Maintain accurate service and repair records

Requirements:

* Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or similar

* Experience working on commercial vehicles

* Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Relevant HGV / LGV qualifications are desirable
