HGV Technician - Days & Afters

Logical Personnel Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a long-established commercial vehicle dealership group for experienced HGV Technicians to join their Blaydon workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-equipped workshop with ongoing training, overtime opportunities, and long-term career progression.

The Role

* Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs

* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

* Complete inspections and preventative maintenance

* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

* Previous HGV Technician experience

* Dealership experience advantageous but not essential

* Own tools preferred

Package

* up to £20 per hour basic

* 45-hour working week

* Days & Afters shift pattern

* 07.00 - 16.30 Earlys 11.00 - 20.30 Afters

* Alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half

* Overtime available

* Manufacturer training and development
