HGV Teechnician

Role: HGV Technician

Location: Widnes Cheshire

Salary: £25.21 per hour (Basic)

Overtime: £31.5 per hour ( Tuesday - Friday )

Shift Timings: 20.30pm to 7:00am =-Nights

Contracted Hours: 45 hours per week

Rocket Staffing are currently recruiting experienced HGV Technician to join a busy HGV Technician team in Widnes Chesire . This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking for long-term work with consistent hours.

About the Job

* Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles in the company fleet.

* Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes

* Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust. It is not just limited to workshop.

* Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles

* Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled

* Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.

Requirement

* Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)

* NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics

* Previous workshop experience preffered

* Valid UK driving licence; an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence is highly desirable

* Knowledge of DVSA inspection standards and VOSA procedures
