Position: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver
Shift Start Time: 17:30
Shift Length: Until finish (typically 8–10 hours)
Pay Rate: £20.58 per hour

The Role

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing work based in Basingstoke (RG24). You will be operating curtainside trailers, transporting goods safely and efficiently during night shifts. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking regular night work with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on scheduled night routes
Operate curtainside trailers safely and efficiently
Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
Ensure all deliveries and collections are accurate and on time
Secure loads correctly and comply with transport legislation
Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records
Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 6 months driving experience on Class 1 vehicles
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
Previous curtainside experience preferred
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
Good communication skills
