HGV / LCV Technician - 4-Day Back Shift
Are you an experienced HGV or LCV Technician looking for a permanent 4-day working week and a consistent back shift?

We're recruiting for a skilled HGV / LCV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of commercial vehicles and trailers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a 40-hour week over 4 days, with a 1:30pm start and midnight finish.

The Role
As an HGV / LCV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing commercial vehicles and trailers.

Your duties will include:
·Routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance
·HGV and LCV mechanical repairs
·Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
·Defect repairs and preventative maintenance
·Working on franchised and non-franchised commercial vehicles
·Trailer maintenance and repairs
·Using manufacturer diagnostic systems and specialist tooling
·Completing job cards, service sheets and online maintenance records
·Ensuring all work is completed safely and to industry standards

About You
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician with:
·Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
·NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - essential
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
·Experience servicing and repairing commercial vehicles
·Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
·High standards of workmanship
·Reliable and professional approach
·Ability to work effectively as part of a team
·HGV Licence - desirable~

Experience across both HGV and LCV vehicles would be advantageous, but strong experience in either area will be considered.
