Job Title: HIAB HGV Driver (Class 2 / Cat C)

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent (ME10)

Start Date: September 2026

Contract Duration: Ongoing (temporary contract)

Pay Rate: £20 - £23 per hour (dependent on pay type; PAYE, Umbrella PAYE or CIS)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HIAB HGV Driver (Class 2) for an immediate start, delivering construction materials directly to sites across Sittingbourne and the wider Kent area.

This contract offers consistent daily work and strong weekly earnings for an experienced HIAB operator.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operating a Class 2 HGV equipped with a vehicle-mounted crane (HIAB) to transport and offload building materials

Class C driving licence and a lorry loader crane swivel hook qualification preferable including remote controls

Working alongside a street lighting electrician to carry out column removal and erection and other street lighting furniture (eg Bollards and signposts)
Excavation and reinstatement. Making pathway/verge good.

Requirements

HGV Category C (Class 2) Licence with no more than 6 penalty points (no IN10 or DR10 endorsements).

Valid HIAB Qualification (ALLMI, RTITB, or CPCS accredited).

Valid Driver CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card

Manual Handling Training
First Aid
Safety Critical Medical
Previous experience in operating

Full PPE (Steel toe boots, high-vis jacket, hard hat, gloves).

Right to work in the UK.
