Academics are currently looking for HLTA to work in a primary school in Watford and the surrounding areas.

Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Watford

Salary: £100-£110 per day

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and confident HLTA who enjoys working with children and wants the flexibility that supply work can offer. You'll have the opportunity to take on a higher level of responsibility within different primary school settings, supporting teachers and pupils while gaining experience across a range of schools.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting teachers with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
Leading whole-class sessions and lessons when required.
Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and development.
Delivering targeted interventions to help pupils make progress.
Supporting pupils with different learning needs and abilities.
Providing cover for classes when required.
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Supporting pupils to stay focused, motivated and engaged with their learning.
Working closely with teachers and other members of staff to support pupil progress.
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and schools across different settings.
Adapting quickly to different classrooms, year groups and school environments.We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working as a Teaching Assistant, HLTA or in a similar education role.
Has a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
Is confident leading lessons, groups and classroom activities.
Has strong behaviour management skills.
Is reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable.
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Has a patient, supportive and confident approach.
Can work independently as well as part of a wider school team.
