Main Duties:

• To support the Private Clients Manager and Client Directors in the provision of excellent service to the Private Clients
• Liaison with colleagues in Finance, Sales, Compliance as required and meeting required KPI’s and timescales for delegated tasks
• Attendance at internal, Client and Insurer meetings as required.
• The Private Client Broker will ensure the team maintains required CPD requirements of the company
• Preparation of renewal and new business. Risk registers and presentations in line with agreed timescales.
• Effective resolution of customer and insurer queries via the telephone and email.
• Marketing of risks to insurers.
• Liaising with colleagues in claims, sales and finance to achieve required outcomes.
• Processing of all necessary documentation for new, existing and renewal business.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required:

• As a Private Client Broker you will demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work with senior colleagues in a collaborative manner.
• Proven ability to develop effective working relationships externally and internally
• Proven ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate and influence
• Experience of adhering to and maintaining systems and procedures

Education / Training / Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Proficient with Acturis back office system will be an advantage.
• Proficient with dealing with High Net Worth insurance.
