Job Title: Computing Teacher
Location: Stockport
Start Date: After October half term
Salary: £160 - £240 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary comprehensive school in Stockport. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and provides education for pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.

The school is looking to appoint a Computing Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, starting after October half term. You will be responsible for planning and delivering Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, marking pupils’ work and assessing progress while maintaining positive classroom behaviour.

The successful Computing Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (essential)
Experience teaching Computing across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
Strong Computing subject knowledge, including programming and computational thinking
The ability to plan engaging lessons, adapt teaching and assess pupil progress
Excellent classroom management
Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic, adaptable approach
