Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are working with a lovely primary school in the borough of Croydon who’s looking for a HLTA (High-Level Teaching Assistant) to join their school in September.

The position is covering different classes within the school (PPA). All of the lessons are pre-planned, and ready to be taught.

The successful candidate will be employed on a permanent, full-time basis, (employed directly by the school).

High Level Teaching Assistant Vacancy:

• The successful HLTA will cover PPA (different classes within the school, pre-planned lessons)
• Lovely, mainstream primary school located in Croydon (CR0 postcode) w/on-site parking
• 2-form entry, well-recognised primary school
• Permanent, full-time contract with the school
• Salary: £28,087 - £34,526 per annum, term time only

Requirements:

• Must have an enhanced DBS (or willingness to process a new one)
• 'Some’ experience covering / teaching classes
• Passion for teaching and working in primary schools
• Ability to commit to a full-time role working 5 days per week
