Temporary Contract with Potential for a Permanent Position

Location: Kensington, Liverpool (L6)
Start Date: January 2026
Pay Rate: £115-£120 per day
Hours: Full-Time

A large and well-regarded primary school in Kensington (L6) is seeking an experienced HLTA to join their team on a fixed-term contract starting in January 2026. The role will continue for the remainder of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide classroom cover for PPA time, staff absences and other planned cover requirements across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Previous experience working within both key stages would be highly advantageous.

An experienced HLTA or equivalent qualification holder.
A confident practitioner with experience across KS1 and KS2.
An Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking to broaden their primary school experience before moving into a full classroom teaching role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
