Higher Level Teaching Assistant for Bude Primary Academy

An ARB is for children with a range of individual needs as detailed in their Education, Health and Care Plans. No day is ever the same in Poppy Class, we all learn something new with and from one another. We have a superb team of experienced staff and equally amazing pupils and together we enjoy a wide range of learning experiences.

Our children have a wide range of complex additional needs including autism, speech language and communication needs), general developmental delays and physical and medical needs.

Intimate care is also required by some of our pupils. Lunchtime and breaktime supervision will all be a requirement of this role. We welcome applications from those who are pro-active and flexible in their working practice as well as those able to ‘think-on-their-feet’.

We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The position is for 32.5 hours per week, term time only plus two INSET days and is offered on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2027.
