Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Leeds - HLTA

HLTA | Leeds Primary Schools | Full-time / Part-time

We're currently looking for experienced HLTAs to work across Primary schools in Leeds

Schools are looking for confident support staff who are comfortable working across the classroom, taking small groups and, where required, covering lessons.

The role could include:

Covering classes during PPA or teacher absence
Delivering small group interventions
Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Working alongside teachers and SEND staff
Supporting with literacy and numeracy
Helping pupils stay engaged and on track with their learningWe'd ideally like to hear from people who already have HLTA experience or have worked as an experienced Teaching Assistant and are confident leading a class or group.

A recognised HLTA qualification is desirable, although relevant school-based experience will also be considered depending on the role.

We have a mixture of day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available.
