Job Type: Full-time / Permanent / 40 hours per week.
Location: Hounslow, surrounding West London & M25 area.
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000, depending on experience

Step into a pivotal role as a Highway Technology Engineer where you’ll be supporting the UK's strategic road network, where your expertise will help shape the future of highway technology. Based around Hounslow, West London, and the M25 corridor, this full-time, permanent position offers the chance to be part of a close-knit team maintaining and improving the region’s vital infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing As The Highway Technology Engineer

• Installing and commissioning roadside technology systems
• Diagnosing faults and delivering fast, effective resolutions
• Carrying out planned inspections across strategic routes
• Maintaining strong standards in health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Shifting between day and night work as part of a collaborative crew

Full training provided—including specialist courses and hands-on support—to help you master the unique technology network in use across the region.

What You’ll Need To Succeed As A Highway Technology Engineer

• An electrical qualification (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with the highways sector are a huge plus
• Initiative and independence in problem-solving
• Strong time management and communication skills
• A FULL UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
• Confidence with Microsoft Office
