Highways Operative

We Are Zenith are looking for experienced Highways Operatives on behalf of our client based in Gateshead.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out a variety of highways maintenance and construction works.

* Tarmac surfacing and reinstatement works.

* Kerb installation and repairs.

* Footpath and pavement repairs.

* Flagstone laying, replacement and maintenance.

* Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently.

* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.

Essential Requirements:

* Previous experience in all aspects of highways work.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Ride-on Roller qualification/certification.

* Abrasive Wheels qualification.

* Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

Desirable Requirements:

* HGV Licence, as driving HGV vehicles may form part of the role
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
