Hire Controller

We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller to join the team of a company that supplies specialist equipment to the construction and industry.

Our client has a great reputation in the industry and is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and flexible all-rounder to work as part of a busy hire desk team within a supportive company.

Job Title - Hire Controller
Location - Netherton, Dudley
Salary - £28-32k / annum
Hours - 7.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday

Main Duties:

• First point of contact for customer enquiries
• Coordinating drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers on time and efficiently.
• Ensuring accuracy of all paperwork.
• Liaising with the workshop to ensure that equipment is available.
• Assisting with loading and unloading in depot when required.
• Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers regarding damages and ensuring payment is received
• Full training on product range will be given.

Requirements:

• IT literate
• Full driving licence (essential)
• Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure & to set deadlines
• Customer focused
• Energetic & enthusiastic
• Hire industry experience (desirable)
