Job Title: Hire Desk Controller
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £32,000 - £35,000 + Bonus Scheme
Working Hours: Monday – Friday

About this Hire Desk Controller Role:
As a Hire Desk Controller, you will play a key role in managing incoming customer enquiries, coordinating hires and logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, engineers, and the depot team.

Hire Desk Controller Key Responsibilities:

Handling hire enquiries via phone and email
Creating and managing hire contracts and off-hires
Liaising with the transport and engineering teams to arrange deliveries, collections, and servicing
Maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
General admin and system updates

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a Hire Desk, Coordinator, or customer service role (Plant or Powered Access industry preferred).
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Strong IT skills and attention to detail
